My Dear American Friends
Your forefathers have created a great nation for you and your children to live in. You must be very proud of what they - and your fellow countrymen and women - have achieved, and thankful for making sure that your children will have a future.
Cherish what you have, many people are willing to kill and die to have half of what you have, to be able to live the American dream, to make sure that their children will have a future. Your forefathers created a great nation, keep it great.
Happy 4th of July and God bless you.

Ahmed,
That was a very nice post.

Ahmad -
Here is to the future.
I hope one day people will say the same thing about Iraq: What a great country!
Ahmad,
What a kind and gracious tribute! Thank you.
I feel blessed to be an American, and all the Americans I know share the desire for people of every nation to have peace, equality, hope, and opportunity.

Thank you Ahmad! I too see that in a few short years, Iraq will be a model for ME democracy. The American revolt against the British lasted several years. It didn't transpire in a couple of years. There has been an election in your nation. A Constitution is being prepared. The tryant saddam hussein will be tried along with many of his criminal henchmen. Schools have been opened. Hospitals are in operation. There is construction going on. The move is foward towards moderation and democracy. Your children will know a much better future than you and that makes the current struggle worth it. God bless Iraq and the Iraqi people!
Fay,
Thanks for the link. So much for Syria's innocence!
Anon,
To the future ;)
Goesh,
Amen.
What date would you chose as Independence day for Iraq? Would it be the day of millions of purple fingers?
OOOPs... I hit the button too fast....
Thank you Ahmad! It feels so good to know some people still see the good things about America! I wish every good person in the world could have the freedom I have had and the opportunities that freedom allows.
Blessed be to you as well Ahmad!
Our friend!
Thank you Ahmad, that was very thoughtful of you.
Annie,
It would be either the 30th Jan, the day of the purple finger, or 9th april, the day Saddam was toppled. But 30th of Jan is more logical.
Ahmad,
Remember. It is the MODERATES of the Nation that determine which way the political wind will blow. Our War of Independence did not take hold until those who did NOT originally want to go to war decided to on the side of the Revolution. We must make sure the Moderate Iraqis choose the side of the Gov't.
Keep blogging.
Thanks for the compliment.

Cherish what you have, you people are willing to kill to have all of what everybody else has, to be able to live the American doublethink, to make sure that their children will have a future, but no priciples and most probably no a family. Your forefathers created a great nation, on someone else's land, spending someone else's blood. Keep it great, any way you can, just like you have all these 300 years. After all, the ends justify the means. And Truth, Justice and the American way turns into the world's most bloody oxymoron.
Happy 4th of July and God bless you - if he can find in his heart to do so.
You are a gentleman, sir. Thank you. And I wish the best for you and your nation, and pray that we do not betray you to your neighbors, as we did the Vietnamese.
God bless you, sir.
